I’m sure someone over at Friends of Hillary has checked “H-Rod’s” music library to ensure it contains legitimate songs downloaded from the iTunes store. And if for some reason it can’t be matched there, I’m positive that Hillary could produce personal CDs from her home music collection that would align with her “Party Shuffle” list.

I started laughing the minute I read this headline and haven’t stopped since.
Kerry calls for international summit to quell Iraqi insurgency
Kerry, speaking with reporters after touring areas flooded last week by heavy rain, said the summit should include representatives of warring factions in Iraq, as well as Europeans, Iranians, Syrians and other Middle Eastern players. The goal should be to stabilize Iraq so Iraqi forces can assume control and the U.S. military can stand down by the end of the year, he said.
Be sure to bring Jimmy Carter along to do the introductions for you, John. He’s got lots of old friends amongst this group.
Oh, and John? What about security? How are you going to stop the “representatives of warring factions” from bringing along their own suicide bombers to your little party? Will you be there too or will you just “endorse” the meeting while you stay snug as a bug in a rug in your Boston mansion?
Oh, one more thing John. If a meeting like this really took place, and all the thuggery of Iraq, Iran, and Syria came together in one location, would you be upset if the U.S. decided to interrupt the proceedings with a few strategically placed smart bombs?

Frankly, I’d rather read a book written by McGreevey’s wife Dina, the real victim in this story.
I have an entirely new appreciation for our troops today as a result of watching this show on HBO last night.
12-time Emmy Award winner producer/director Jon Alpert and Matthew O’Neill capture the humanity, hardships and heroism of the US Military and medical personnel of the 86th Combat Support Hospital, the Army’s premier medical facility in Iraq. Sometimes graphic in its depiction of combat-related wounds, BAGHDAD ER offers an unflinching and honest account of the realities of war.
It’s one thing to read about stuff like this, it’s quite another to view it, uncut. Quite a few points struck me as I watched…
…The amount of dedication the medical staff put into each and every casualty, no matter if the patient was American or Iraqi.
…The emotion felt between soldiers when one of their buddies dies.
…The difficult job done by the Army Chaplain which requires a gentle spirit 24/7.
…The sense of mission in each injured soldier, and their unwavering desire to rejoin their fellow troops as soon as possible.
If you have HBO and didn’t get a chance to view the program, you’ll have another opportunity over Memorial Day weekend. It’s well worth your time.
It’s amazing what steroids can do for a guy.
