Election fraud underway.

When two tabulations of the governor’s race showed that Republican Dino Rossi had won, he said Democrat Christine Gregoire should do what’s best for the state and concede. This week, with the very real possibility that the nearly completed hand recount could undo Rossi’s victory, Gregoire wants Rossi’s pledge to accept the upcoming results as final — and concede if he loses. She’s pledged to concede if Rossi prevails. (via the Seattle PI)

So, if Gregoire loses three times, she’ll accept defeat, but if Rossi loses 1 (while winning 2), he’s supposed to graciously bow out? It’s obvious that she knows that the recount in King County will give her additional votes.

Utterly disgusting.

U.S. Sen. Bob Graham took the stage Monday night to remind the Democratic Party faithful of all the reasons their beliefs were right even if the curtain was dropped last month on their political dreams.

“I know some Democrats are a little down, some would say depressed,” said Graham, a former Florida governor whose 38-year political career will officially end Jan. 4. “I know some are on political Prozac.”

But, he predicted, the Democratic Party will rise again.

“We’re going to come back and we’re going to come back because we were right. We figured it out,” he said as he strolled around the set of The Florida Stage speaking to about 200 who gathered for a meeting of Palm Beach County Democrats.

Senator Graham was then given his nightly medication (chopped up in applesauce, of course) and pushed into the TV room so as not to miss Wheel of Fortune with the rest of the good folks at the Palm Beach Convalescent Center.

It appears that some on the left are willing to be honest about what Conservatives believe and what Liberals believe (and don’t believe). Too bad this has to come from an unknown non political figure from San Francisco.

Except for the hit on Christian fundamentalists, Cromey presents a even-handed understanding of the consequences of the faux ”separation of church and state” folly.

A mortar and rocket attack on a U.S. military base in the Iraqi city of Mosul killed at least 22 people and wounded more than 50 on Tuesday in one of the most deadly attacks on U.S. forces since last year’s invasion.

The Ansar al-Sunnah Army claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement on the Internet. It said the attack was a “martyrdom operation” targeting a mess hall in the al-Ghizlani camp.

When are we going to stop playing patty-cake with these guys and pull out the big guns? We need to suspend “politics” for 24 hours and run through the country doing things we wouldn’t normally do. Hiding in a mosque? Bomb it. We still have napalm right? Use it. Our intelligence knows “about” where these guys are (give or take a few dozen miles). Carpet bomb 5 square miles at a time.
