OK, not exactly death, but a bad flu nonetheless. I was supposed to leave for San Antonio this morning, but no…I was stricken with a plague. A gift from one of my children. This one had the works – bad stomach, splitting headache, aching bones, etc. Not to mention the fact that I wanted to sleep all day (and did). It’s amazing how sickness can stop the clock of life. Now, I’m playing catchup, trying to rebook flights to Texas, trying to reschedule appointments, etc. Yuck.

Anyway, the “light posting” notice is still up, as things will continue to be a bit crazy over the next couple of days.

Well, maybe not in this case. I’m of the camp who thinks that Carville has a good sense of humor, and is perhaps one of the only liberals who has faced reality regarding the state of his party.

Powell submits his resignation.

There will be light blogging this week, as I am traveling to San Antonio for a business trip. If anyone knows of a nice place to have dinner there, by all means, please comment!
