Overheard in the Senate today…
“Excuse me, members of the media, uh, helloooooo, uh, Senator Daschle is ready for his meet and greet. Excuse me, folks, right over here, he’s, ready, well…he’ll be waiting.”
“Sir, they might be over in a minute, or so.”
This picture would only be funnier if he was wearing the San Diego chicken suit or something more appropriate for a man of his newly acquired stature.
