Are the Democrats, and specifically John Kerry so desperate as to endanger the health of Bill Clinton? Is he really their saving grace in this election? Will he be effective on the trail at all? I’ve known people who have had the same surgery as he had. Normal activities like simple walking can immediately tire you out to where you just want to sleep. You also don’t have as strong a speaking voice as you might normally have. It will be interesting to see how “healthy” Bill Clinton will be, and how much John Kerry will demand from him.

It’s Sunday, and that means it’s generally a slow news day, and beyond that, I do like to watch football, sleep, and do generally nothing. So, the amount of blog posts will reflect that.

Unless of course, someone is able to get their hands on this story early, then I’ll be as abuzz as everyone else I spect.

Apparently, he doesn’t even know.

John Thune just released a killer campaign ad. You know the type. The kind that make you cringe (if you’re the opponent, that is.)

As you’ve heard John Kerry say during this campaign, he’d like to lead America back to the way things were in the 1990’s, when terrists were nothing more than a nuisance. Bill Kristol frames Kerry’s statement in this way:

“To pretend we can go back to the 1990s raises false hopes that will prove dangerous to the country. On the other hand, we can face our challenges, and carry out our duties–as President Bush has tried, with considerable success, to lead us to do.”

He’s right.

As you can see from this map, the city of PunditGuy has yet to be discovered. Attention pioneers – there’s still time to stake your claim. 🙂

I bet no one in the Kerry campaign thought they’d have to worry about this…

Write, email, fax, snail-mail – do whatever it takes. Tell The Guardian what you think of this.

I’ve had this blog up for less than a month, and I’ve been getting a few good links and a couple of Instalanches and I start feeling pretty confident about it all right? Well, thanks to Truth Laid Bear, I now know exactly where I rate in terms of political blogs. I’m ranked at 150 – or 2896 visits per day. What’s worse is, I believe they average the numbers so my visits are probably a lot lower than what they have calculated. In other words…I aint squat.

Crawling back under my rock now. 🙂

INDC Journal has early information that a new Time Poll puts Bush up 5 points over Kerry – 51% to 46%. More importantly, Bush’s approval rating is now at 53%.
