I received this unsolicited email today and actually read it. Not bad…

I’m trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head so I’ll know how to vote come November. Right now, we have one guy saying one thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who to believe? Lemme see if I have got this straight?

From the comments under an article posted on John Kerry’s blog…A viewer of the debate last night who is deaf and reads lips observed the following:

FYI – I am deaf and can read lips okay…at the end of debate where Kerry and Bush shook hands.. Bush was asking Kerry, Can I talk to you later tonight? Kerry said sure then Bush said where would you be? I missed what Kerry said.

I’ll admit, I’m jonesin’ on this…just what did Bush want to say to Kerry “offline”?

ELIZABETH EDWARDS ACCUSES LYNNE CHENEY OF “SHAME” OF HER DAUGHTER, QUESTIONS HER CRITICISM OF KERRY’S MARY CHENEY REFERENCE.

ELIZABETH EDWARDS ON ABC RADIO: “She’s overreacted to this and treated it as if it’s shameful to have this discussion. I think that’s a very sad state of affairs… I think that it indicates a certain degree of shame with respect to her daughter’s sexual preferences… It makes me really sad that that’s Lynne’s response.”

Cheney’s daughter is not running for the presidency. There was no reason to bring her name into the debate last night, or during the V.P. debate last week.

LYNNE CHENEY AT POST-DEBATE RALLY: “The only thing I could conclude is that this is not a good man. This is not a good man. And, of course, I’m speaking as a mom. And a pretty indignant one. This is not a good man. What a cheap and tawdry political trick.”

Absolutely. It was obvious that Kerry was being disingenuous. Moreover, his comment violated Mary Cheney’s privacy.

DICK CHENEY TO NBC AFFILIATE WHO: “I would have said Sen. Kerry was out of line to bring my daughter into it. I thought it was totally inappropriate.”

You know that Dick Cheney would have pulled out his can ‘o whupass if he would have been on that stage.

WHAT KERRY SAID: “And I think if you were to talk to Dick Cheney’s daughter, who is a lesbian, she would tell you that she’s being who she was, she’s being who she was born as.”

What a jerk.
