Comic Chris Rock says something controversial regarding the Oscars and “lighter than light” people who watch the broadcast. BIG FRICKEN DEAL, right? I mean it’s Chris Rock for goodness sakes. He makes his money doing this type of stuff. It’s WHO HE IS. Shtik people, SHTIK.
But, Drudge makes a federal case over it by SHOUTING out the story on his page in 72 point type.
Sometimes when there’s a lack of real news, Matt creates news, because HE CAN.
UPDATE: Chris milks it for all it’s worth.
Tsunami Treasures
Wow.
So, I Guess That Means I’m a TypePadist
I’m a little late to the party on this one, but Moxie doesn’t want to be called a blogger, and I’m “one” with that.
Who’s Next?
Now that Eason is gone, who will the blogosphere serve up next?
Dr. Dean
Mr. DNC. This is going to be great. The Clintonistas verses the Deaniacs. The Democratic Party will eat itself alive.
Voicemail
Here is a tale of a guy who was calling his friend and leaving a message when he witnessed an auto accident happen right before his eyes. From that moment forward, he loses it. (link is a .wav audio file)
Update: OK, some of you are telling me that this might be a fake. Could be. Probably is. Even so, you can’t tell me that you didn’t start laughin after hearing that guy! It’s infectious.
Khatami Connected
The art of propaganda.
Iranian President Khatami has a website. With a bit of tweaking, it could be a blog. The homepage is rather friendly looking. He’s got a photo album (with the link disabled, heh.) He also provides an easy way to send email to him directly. Oh, and I’m sure he reads every one of the messages he receives (uh huh).
He’s got a big long “links” list. I thought I might pose as Glenn Reynolds and ask if I could be added to his blogroll.
“Do You Like Judo?”
From very twisted minds…
See No Evil
Stating that he couldn’t understand what all the hubbub was about, former president Bill Clinton prepared to view the controversial GoDaddy.com Super Bowl commercial. But, just seconds before the scantily clad GoDaddy.com girl appeared on screen, Hillary stepped in to prevent the unauthorized bimbo sighting.
