From CNN: British Airways has cancelled all flights in and out of London’s Heathrow Airport until 1 p.m. ET (1700 GMT) Friday due to an employee strike. 70,000 passengers are affected.
I travel regularly, mostly for business purposes, and have been stranded at airports before. When it happens, the first reaction is extreme anger, then acceptance as you realize your powerlessness. The only thing left to do after that is settle in and wait.
It’s a huge disruption, and the ripple effect will touch all air travel through the weekend.
