There will likely be no posts today. Well, other than this one of course. Yes, I am really leaving for San Antonio today, as opposed to the threat of leaving a few days ago. I’m going to be in that purgatory we call “traveling” – freeways, long term parking, check-in lines, boarding gates, cramped seats, long flights, bad weather, delays, connections, late arrivals, taxi cabs, hotel check-ins, then finally, to bed. But, only for a few hours, because everything starts at 5:00 AM! And I’ll show no sign of jet-lag or travel irritability now will I!

Heh. I hate the “travel” day.

Advice from Ms. Noonan. I doubt the blogosphere can adhere to her suggestion though.

OK, not exactly death, but a bad flu nonetheless. I was supposed to leave for San Antonio this morning, but no…I was stricken with a plague. A gift from one of my children. This one had the works – bad stomach, splitting headache, aching bones, etc. Not to mention the fact that I wanted to sleep all day (and did). It’s amazing how sickness can stop the clock of life. Now, I’m playing catchup, trying to rebook flights to Texas, trying to reschedule appointments, etc. Yuck.

Anyway, the “light posting” notice is still up, as things will continue to be a bit crazy over the next couple of days.

Well, maybe not in this case. I’m of the camp who thinks that Carville has a good sense of humor, and is perhaps one of the only liberals who has faced reality regarding the state of his party.
