Regarding how this all started, Michelle Malkin went to a cached page, took a screenshot, and posted the image on her site because didn’t like the politics of the people. It’s not her place to justify the disclosing of this information because she deemed that they were terrorizing people. That’s an issue for the Santa Cruz police department to deal with, not her own brand of vigilante justice.
As for her own personal details – Malkin included that on her own e-mail list and that’s how it went public. She launched her personal information about herself BY herself.
And the anti-racist One People’s Project website promptly released her new details.
Someone took it a step further and used live.windows.com and yahoo maps to do a Graphic.
Payback’s a bitch eh’ Malkin?
Her refusal to remove these kids contact information was not from conviction, but from revenue. Every journalist in the world knows that contact information on a press release is for journalists to call for more information or interviews, not to be published (or even pointed out) in the publication itself. If she were any kind of ethical person she would have pulled the information when asked.
If she were something resembling a human being with “feelings”, she would not have republished the information once the students themselves removed it. Michelle is a vicious, vindictive, venomous egoist with no discernible ethics nor even a shred of human decency. If she wants to be The Minority Woman Who Believes Minorities and Women Suck, that’s her right. But she should at least have the integrity to acknowledge that she has done wrong and to stop compounding the wrong. And she should not give us that disingenuous crap about how she doesn’t condone death threats and nobody should misuse her posting and reposting of personal information.

I will tap dance on the windpipe of anyone that tries to harm Michelle Malkin or her family.
All she has to do is say the word and an Army of folks like me will come runnin to her neighborhood.
We will protect her the same way the Bikers protect the military families.
GO ‘HEAD, MAKE MY DAY.

The students (and rather obvious non-students) at Santa Cruz exercised their freedom of expression by denying the rights of others, threatening violence, destroying property and insisting that their own beliefs trumped those of anyone else. Then get incensed when they are exposed to the light.
Tough.
And as for themole, he needs to burrow back underground. “Payback’s a bitch eh’ Malkin?” No, dipshit, payback will come when the peaceful, humanist, freedom loving little fascists actually do violence against a person they disagree with. Most Malkin readers are actually pretty tolerant of other people’s right to free speech. But all too often, the progressives out there cross the line of civilized behavior. Sooner or later, the tolerance will wear down, and then maybe we’ll see about payback.I won’t be betting on the progressives to win that one.

Why is it so hard for these individuals to understand the concept of free speech, and that it has limits that reasonable people intrinsically understand.

Again, why do the lefties keep referring to the college students as “kids?”
I thought once you turned 18 you were an adult.

The protestors had already passed out leaflets and posted signs telling the public how to reach them. All Michelle did was take that already public information and put it on her website.

themole?!?!?
Michelle Malkin did not originally take the information from a cached page. There was a press release that contained the information, she published the information from that release. The information was already out there.
Later, after they started receiving unwanted calls, the students changed their press release online. MM just pointed out that they had made this change, and stated that you can see the change by viewing the cached page.
Her site also stated that none of the students listed on her site has ever e-mailed her to ask that she remove there information.
I guess my point is: Press Release = Publish-able
🙂
perhaps we should see a dermatologist and have “themole” removed. lol

Yeah, Mr. “themole” tried that same crap on Noisyroom.net — same text — but his email and URL are fake, and the content was (is) factually false, so noisyroom.net declined to post.
I sort of accept that the Internet provides a way for cowards to mouth off behind a curtain of anonymnity, so whoever “themole” is, we can be fairly sure that, in addition to fabricating “facts” (we call that “lying” where I’m from), the “man” is also a devout coward.
That said, I do NOT “sort of accept” that the Internet provides a place for people to engage in the intimidation of others while hiding behind the same cowardly curtain.
Our friend “themole” is a punk, a liar, and quite probably fits some legal language crafted to prevent stalking and intimidation.
Following a review of Malkin’s material, I would have to say, in my considered opinion, “Michele rocks!”
So, Mr “themole” (you fake, cringing, sissy), why don’t you look up my personal information and come harass me? You don’t mind a couple of friendly warning shots, do you?

A self-admitted racist and holocaust denier has mounted a campaign to publish Malkin’s personal details on as many websites as possible. “themole” is either him or an ally. URLs deliberately omitted.

Why aren’t the SAW protesting the fanatical Terrorists who are trying to blow up American citizens and troops?
Why aren’t the SAW telling the Terrorists to “give peace a chance”?

I second: Let no harm come to Michelle Malkin or her family. I may be in Las Vegas, but just point me in the right direction. I’ve got your back.

Nice, now the Hell’s Angels, The Outlaws and God knows what other criminals-bikers are accepted on The Right?
The last time I checked the motorcycle gangs were the enemy…and this is coming from a retired serviceman? Good Lord, what have we become?

Dorcas, “Bikers protect[ing] the military families” = Patriot Guard (see eg., http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriot_Guard). They protect military funerals from the followers/family of Fred Phelps. Not all bikers are outlaws, you know? Well, most adults know that – perhaps you’re a little bigoted?
I love it!
…feeling lucky, punk? Go ahead, make my day!
Nice! D.C. Vice!
