Dick Morris on Ed Klein on Hillary Clinton.

I am no defender of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s, to put it mildly. But the recent charges in Ed Klein’s book to the effect that she is a closet homosexual or that Bill raped her and that this act triggered Chelsea’s conception are as crazy as the list that was circulating around of the 20 or so people the Clintons allegedly had killed.

These accusations do not belong in our public dialogue. They hit below the belt and tend to discredit the more serious and sober concerns so many of us have about the danger she would present in high office.

Dick has got it right. Hillary loves this type of controversy, and she knows exactly how to spend that kind of capital.

My money says it is…that’s Demi kissing Bill Clinton. Drudge used this picture to highlight yet another ‘Cheatin Bubba’ story. She probably started out trying to give him one of those ‘Hollywood’ style kisses, part cheek – part corner of the lips. Obviously, kisses of that sort aren’t effective on Bill. He saw that coming from a mile away and instead, turned just in time to catch the full on lip lock.

Whatever.

UPDATE: It aint Demi, but some random supporter who just wanted to kiss Bill.

National Review Online reporter Kathryn Jean Lopez interviews Edward Klein, the author of ‘The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew it, and How Far She’ll Go to Become President’.

Klein does dance a bit over the ‘rape’ claim that was publicized by Drudge. He claims that he is highlighting yet another example of dysfunction between the Clintons. I don’t know – on the surface, it’s a wild allegation.

After reading this interview, I want to read the book, and I will. I’ll be sure to comment here once I’ve been through it.
