Can it get any more pathetic than that? An old, worn out leader dressed in a military uniform that doesn’t fit him, afraid to confess to his nation that he’s tired. His regime is failing and communism as a movement failed long ago. Every time his poor health is revealed publicly, you can practically hear the people of cuba praying that the guy will finally die. I can only imagine the power vacuum that will occur once he does pass away.

If you want to have a shot at winning this election, put Teresa Heinz Kerry in a box…in fact, put her in a box and ship her somewhere until after November 2nd. That way, she won’t be able to make anymore idiotic statements, nor will she have to issue apologies.

Most of the political news I digest comes from the Internet. I get additional information (or, misinformation) from my free subscriptions to Newsweak and Time. When I partake of their wisdom, I usually do so while riding the porcelain bus (aka, the toilet). I’ve often wondered if my mind would be more open to the persuasion of these magazines if only I had a more comfortable “throne” on which to ponder. The one I have is completely typical…much like the one you probably have in your home. Now, I’m a little bigger than most people. I’ve never found the “American Standard” brand to be very comfortable at all. As such, my political reading is often times hindered by its “one-size fits all” design. Well, I think I’ve finally found the solution. Now, if I can come up with an extra $5K, my desire might become a reality. Perhaps I could build my audience to a point where I can collect blogad money and purchase my way to political reading nirvana? Wishful thinking…maybe I should stick to eBay?

One can only dream.

Here’s another example of the Kerry Camp misunderstanding the war on terror. They believe that Abu Musab al Zarqawi was merely a nuisance before the fall of Saddam. They couldn’t be more wrong.

I’ve thought long and hard about this one, and I’m now in the camp. But…the folks at Winds of Change are still attempting to persuade.

Hey, at least someone in the MSM is owning up to what we’ve known for decades…Peter Jennings admits that the media is less than objective.

“I’m a little concerned about this notion everybody wants us to be objective,” Jennings said.

Jennings said that everyone — even journalists — have points of view through which they filter their perception of the news. It could be race, sex or income. But, he said, reporters are ideally trained to be as objective as possible.

“And when we don’t think we can be fully objective, to be fair,” the anchorman said.

Huh? So, if the media is going to be biased, they need to be biased both ways? Obviously, Peter still has a ways to go.
