“THE” Story

If you’ve been following the conservative blogosphere for the past couple of days, you know about the supposed BIG story that is going to be published tomorrow in the Washington Times. There’s much speculation as to what it’s all about, and a few bloggers were tipped off early as to the contents of the story. From what I can tell so far, the story isn’t an “October Surprise” caliber piece. King Moonbat has some early info (and as usual, he’s already debunked it), so if you’re curious, read away. We’ll have to wait the week out to see if there really any BANG in this one.

UPDATE: REDSTATE.ORG will have the author of the Washington Times piece on-board as a guest blogger all week.

MORE: Wizbang gets in on the scoop…with further detail.

NOW: The official story is on the web.

Predictions?

Via Drudge:

SOURCES: VP Cheney Predicts on NBCNEWS TODAY SHOW Monday: Election Results Will 52% Bush, 47% Kerry…

I’m not superstitious, but I hate when ANYBODY starts throwing predictions like this out there.

Dems Silver Bullet?

Are the Democrats, and specifically John Kerry so desperate as to endanger the health of Bill Clinton? Is he really their saving grace in this election? Will he be effective on the trail at all? I’ve known people who have had the same surgery as he had. Normal activities like simple walking can immediately tire you out to where you just want to sleep. You also don’t have as strong a speaking voice as you might normally have. It will be interesting to see how “healthy” Bill Clinton will be, and how much John Kerry will demand from him.

Light Blogging Today

It’s Sunday, and that means it’s generally a slow news day, and beyond that, I do like to watch football, sleep, and do generally nothing. So, the amount of blog posts will reflect that.

Unless of course, someone is able to get their hands on this story early, then I’ll be as abuzz as everyone else I spect.

Required Reading

As you’ve heard John Kerry say during this campaign, he’d like to lead America back to the way things were in the 1990’s, when terrists were nothing more than a nuisance. Bill Kristol frames Kerry’s statement in this way:

“To pretend we can go back to the 1990s raises false hopes that will prove dangerous to the country. On the other hand, we can face our challenges, and carry out our duties–as President Bush has tried, with considerable success, to lead us to do.”

He’s right.

Uncharted Territory

As you can see from this map, the city of PunditGuy has yet to be discovered. Attention pioneers – there’s still time to stake your claim. 🙂
