As if it’s not bad enough that ISIS is beheading people on video, and conducting mass executions of innocent Iraqis, and taking over thousands of square miles of territory.
Now they have airplanes. And they aren’t planning vacations to sandy beaches. They’re forcing detained pilots to train ISIS militants how to fly.
And what do you think they’re going to do when they know how to fly these planes?

The show “COPS” has been must see TV for millions of people in the U.S., and I’m sure many, like me, have wondered if anyone involved in the production of the reality TV show has ever been hurt, or has somehow become the story rather than the storyteller.
It happened last night.
A crew member with the “Cops” television show was fatally struck by police gunfire as Omaha officers confronted a robber — who also was fatally wounded — at a midtown restaurant, law enforcement sources said Wednesday.
The World-Herald has learned that at least 30 shots were fired at the Wendy’s near 43rd and Dodge Streets. Officials said it appears the only shots fired came from police.
Omaha Police held a press conference today at 2:30 pm central time.
In a statement, Langley Productions, which produces “Cops,” said: “We are deeply saddened and shocked by this tragedy and our main concern is helping his family in any way we can. Bryce Dion was a long term member of the Cops team and a very talented and dedicated person. We mourn his passing. An investigation is ongoing and we are cooperating with local authorities.”

Depending on who you pay attention to, you may hear that the Ebola outbreak in Africa is either no big deal, because it’s really hard to catch, or, it’s much worse and that the severity is being under reported. The Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention remarked on Wednesday that he believes things are much worse than anyone is willing to report.
“It’s even worse than I’d feared,” Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said Wednesday of the Ebola outbreak rampaging through West Africa.
“Every day this outbreak goes on, it increases the risk for another export to another country. The sooner the world comes together to help Liberia and West Africans, the safer we will all be.”

Help? We tried that. As long as the natives hide patients, raid clinics, and distrust doctors, there is no help to give. As in plagues of the past, complete isolation of the sick and adequate disposal of the dead is required and until those with the disease are willing to cooperate in these efforts, Ebola cannot be stopped. At a minimum we must not allow any travelers from those countries into the West unless they ALL be isolated until their health can be established. ALL travelers.

A potential bombshell was dropped today, as it was acknowledged that Lois Lerner’s IRS emails have not been destroyed but have been backed up per normal government protocol procedures which are in place as a safety net should a government-wide catastrophe occur.
Department of Justice attorneys for the Internal Revenue Service told Judicial Watch on Friday that Lois Lerner’s emails, indeed all government computer records, are backed up by the federal government in case of a government-wide catastrophe. The Obama administration attorneys said that this back-up system would be too onerous to search. The DOJ attorneys also acknowledged that the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) is investigating this back-up system.
We obviously disagree that disclosing the emails as required would be onerous, and plan to raise this new development with Judge Sullivan.
This is a jaw-dropping revelation. The Obama administration had been lying to the American people about Lois Lerner’s missing emails. There are no “missing” Lois Lerner emails – nor missing emails of any of the other top IRS or other government officials whose emails seem to be disappearing at increasingly alarming rate. All the focus on missing hard drives has been a diversion. The Obama administration has known all along where the email records could be – but dishonestly withheld this information. You can bet we are going to ask the court for immediate assistance in cutting through this massive obstruction of justice.
Numerous technology experts have been interviewed by the media concerning the alledgedly destroyed emails caused by Lerner’s hard drive crash. All of them said the same thing – emails are stored on servers, not on hard drives, so, the emails exist, somewhere.
Of course they were right.
Will this information be buried by the mainstream media? It’s likely. The MSM is notoriously cowardly if it appears they are “piling on” this president. I can imagine the conversation in editorial rooms across the country include hand wringing over hitting Obama hard on his golfing exploits of late. Could they immediately follow up with news of the IRS scandal blowing up? You know, the scandal that Obama said didn’t include a smidgen of corruption?
I expect crickets.

Wow.
If a Republican said this, the Left would be going completely crazy right now, calling for a resignation, rallying protesters, boycotting anything that senator may have touched in the last 6 years.
Not so when a Liberal says these things. All they need to do is issue a simple “I misspoke” statement, and that’s it. Case closed. The fact that Harry Reid has a history of saying racist things doesn’t seem to matter either.

There’s a rumor out there tonight that Ferguson, MO officer Darren Wilson will be cleared in the shooting of Michael Brown. Wilson, the policeman thrust into the public eye after a confrontation with Ferguson resident Michael Brown which resulted in the death of the 18 year-old, will not face charges after it will be determined that Brown attacked Wilson and attempted to take his gun.
The rumor was put out there by radio station 100.7 The Viper, after a post appeared on its Facebook page. Additional reports have indicated that Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket” sometime during his face-off with Brown.
If this rumor becomes fact, I can only imagine what will happen in Ferguson.
Sgt. Kevin Ahlbrand of the St Louis Metropolitan Police believes there will not be an indictment.

The state of Alabama sanctions Alligator hunting in the summertime for only a few days. Competition for licenses is tough. Applications are submitted, then licensees are chosen by drawing. This season runs from August 8th thru the 24th in various counties in the state. Hunting hours are for night owls. Hunters are only allowed to hunt between the hours of 8 PM and 6 AM.
So far, the hunt has been successful.
This little guy weighs in at 1,000 pounds, and is a smiggin over 15 feet long. That’s a lot of luggage right there.
And if you’re curious, there is a bag limit:
Each person receiving an Alligator Possession Tag will be allowed to harvest one (1) alligator. Alligators harvested in the Southeast Alabama zone must be a minimum of eight (8) feet in length.
This is serious business. Well, maybe not completely serious.
