Now, let’s get one thing straight right off the bat. I’m no fan of Ashlee Simpson. But, ever since she got caught lip syncing on Saturday Night Live, I’ve been amazed at how much extra attention she’s gotten. Unfortunately for her, each additional appearance she makes (VMA’s, Dick Clark’s Rockin New Years Eve) proves just what kind of no talent buffoon she really is. Well, last night was no exception. Ashlee "performed" during the half time show at the Orange Bowl. She didn’t lip sync this time, but she sure should have. By the time she was done, she realized she wasn’t playing in front of teenage girls at the local mall – she was shrieking in front of tens of thousands of football fans. And boy, did they let her have it.

This bim can’t dance (oh, sorry, that jig on SNL ruled), has proven not once, but twice, that she cannot sing, not even remotely skilled, I’ve honestly heard better singers at a karaoke night, and has been pushed into show business by her “John Benet Ramsey-like” parents and conned into believing that, “Hey, we got Jessica to be a star, why not our other worthless daughter?” And it’s also another classic example of Hollywood spoon feeding the public into believing, “You should like this because we say you should”, and the millions of lemmings who suck it up. Her father is creepy (what dad gives her daughter (Jessica) a promise ring as proof that his daughter won’t have sex until marriage?) This whole family is gross and is everything that is wrong with “Showbiz” families. Don’t be surprised if Ashlee is found to be in the same family as Milli Vanilli. Hopefully she’ll follow suit and kill herself like half of that crap group did.

Please don’t make comments that Ashlee should kill herself! Is entertainment that important to you? Look, I am also sick of no-talents getting millions to be, well, untalented. Maybe this will be the end of the fraud and Brittney will stop performing and recording too. But this is not the first time a person has been used by her parents, her record company, her agent, whoever. And that is what is happening here. If you can’t sing, and I mean Nikka Costa sing, then stop. We are tired of it. But Ashlee is a young girl and comments like that are a little over-the-top!
Why do we continue to be tortured by the singing of Ashlee Simpson? Her career is a joke…a bad one! She is nothing but a pre-fabricated, talentless, pop/punk fake! Anyone who hears her sing live(if she sings live)…would agree.
Why should we feel sorry for her? Feel sorry for the people who bought her cd and were deceived or feel sorry for those who bought tickets to the game and had to listen to her sing live. She was horrible and deserved to get booed…that she continues to get up on stage and embarrass herself is her own decision and her own stupidity!
The reason people liked Ashlee Simpson, at first, was because she seemed more “real” than the others…what a disappointment! Why should we support her no-talent career? We shouldn’t!
We shouldn’t watch her up-coming show or buy tickets to her up-coming concerts. God forbid, she’d have another cd come out! Make room for real talent!!!!!!

I don’t know how people can be so obssessed with her she is the worst singer ever and Wednesday her show premieres i can’t wait to see how dumb she acts this season. What really gets me is that she can suck so bad at singing and everything she does but still have a t.v. show why don’t they jsu give me a t.v. show at least I might make an interesting show. Give her a break! She is a human like all of us! She deserves respect, even if she is not the greatest singer of all time. She showed her face in public after the SNL incident. That take alot of courage. I support her(even if i don’t listen to her that much).
yes, she is just like the rest of us, but she doesn’t deserve respect for going back out in public after the SNL incident because that was just dumb on her part for even lipsinking on a show as popular as SNL. I have to admit that does take alot of courage to get back out on stage but that was her dumb a$$ mistake to decide to try and be like her sister and think she could actually do good in front of thousands of people she needs to stick to singing at low-down clubs and crappy places no one cares about what people sing like.

Let’s be honest Ashlee Simpson’s performance at the Orange Bowl sounds like a 15 year old girl with a 3 month old case of strep throat, it is valuable only for its humor value. She is exemplifying everything that is ridiculous about American entertainment, although to be honest, I think she is the worst in the country at what she does.

I had a guitar teacher a while back, he is a really talented musician yet because he was playing music and doing the thing he loved and he didn’t fit into that teen pop craze he didn’t stand a chance of being recognised. So thats quality music, with true emotion which people really can relate to just to get washed away for sake of appearance.
So when you hear people saying “We hate Ashlee Simpson” it because her very existance in the music industry and that of many other teen crazes has meant that quality musicians who are working for nothing but the mere love of the game never get recognised and never have their music heard.
Whats more I promise you that they would produce and release their album for far less then either Jessica, Ashlee, Britanny or any of the others get paid.
Thats why, and untill you see a man playing his guitar in a one bedroom apartment at the bottom of a building who can’t even pay his own phone bill I don’t think you can understand what kind of an impact these people are having.
